What's up with the bedsides?

I've recently been getting to Chevy trucks and I am thinking about getting a bet up one and fixing it up, but my question right now is that I was wondering what the small doors on the bedsides are? They are on both sides of the truck, but I've only seen them a number of times. Thanks

Welcome! Those are access doors for auxiliary saddle fuel tanks.

Welcome to the board! I don't know, ask Stocker. Is that your truck? It's nice either way.

And some had a door on bottom front of passenger bed side. That is a handy place to stuff a Prius

No it's not, I've been looking for one and this is just one I stumbled upon.

Oh those little doors are for the mice that often move into the vehicle if you let it sit too long. There is a small but very prolific company that will install the mouse door at no cost to the mouse.

LOL

Yep, "saddle tank" filler doors.
