How has this truck been lowered?

I have seen pics of this truck around the forum a few times and love the stance of it. Does anyone know of a writeup on it or know how they lowered it?

What would it take to get that stance? I guess he had to c-notch the frame to get that low. It looks like the bed has been raised too. Do you get that stance just by bagging it?

That truck is ridiculously nice! But yeah, spindles, bags, a notch, and maybe blocks and you too could run at that altitude. I wouldn't guess that the bed floor was raised. Oh yeah, your signature is great!

there is a write up in the link in post 2, the bed floor is stock but has a "show deck" wood floor over the steel floor so it sits about 2'' higher. my 68 has a notch and bocks in the back with d2600's and the front is 2 1/2'' spindals and d2600s with 20's all the way around and it sits lower than that, i dont think this truck is aired all the way down.

The link really only tells you it's air ride but doesn't give you details. I'd really like toknow details... Like spindles... How the rear end is setup... Where they got the center console.... Things like that.

It is definetely NOT airred out all the way, and that stance looks great. Mine has the same stance when I air it out with a little rake to the front and I have 20s and 22s. This one looks like 22s all around. I notched the rear with a mini notch and just did plates and cups in the front with 2.5 in drop spindles. I cut the cups down 3/8 of an inch to lower it a little more. This truck has a four link settup in the rear to keep the alignment correct at any height (and from what it looks like) a dropmember in the front, more than likely, since it is Porterbilt.

That truck doesn't look like it could "air out" too much, the headers are only a couple inches off the ground at that height.

Like mentioned earlier, truck really could have used 3/4 length headers, but oh well....The truck is killer regardless!

A stage 2 suspension from porterbuilt would get you that stance with the factory x member. Mild c-notch in the rear

Not super detailed...but more info than on the fesler page:

The dropped stance was achieved with a complete Air ride Technologies air suspension system, powdercoated control arms, Baer spindles, QA1 shocks, Big red air valves, and two viair compressors.

FYI...You can achieve the stance pictured with a complete kit from ART or Porterbuilt (stage 2 mild drop)...or you can piece it together with early classics or CPP drop spindles, airbags with bag brackets in the front, and bags in the rear on the trailing arm with a c-notch to the frame. Will need shocks for a bagged truck and some sort of air management or schrader valves (for manual filling/dropping)
