new here, still got questions...

i'm new to this site, well posting here anyways.. i still have a few things i have questions about. first off i want to build my dream truck wich is a '72 with 6.2 diesel, (thanks to the c-30 build i might want to turbo it), 4spd, 203, dana 44 big hub frount axle, 14 bolt rear (more locker/gear choices). now i have all the drive minis the turbo. the questions i have are,
1) how hard is it to change my 68 to a 72 frount end?
2) where would a person find a longhorn frame box?
3) how hard is it to come across a cab w/orignal lights raised up on top?
4) are the 1/2 and 3/4 frames different?
5) and there was a 1 ton wrecker in pieces a while back on ebay, is was in OH, iirc, that had the cab i want, would any one happen to remember this or know how i might be able to find it?

i'll have plenty more questions when this project starts to roll and i i hope t be able to have them all answered here thanx in advance

I guess it depends on if you are talking about Chevy or GMC. If you change the whole front clip it shouldn't be a problem....

Second question doesn't make sense. Are you looking for a frame or box or both?

They are around, you just have to check craigslist and the parts board and trucks for sale on here. I have a cab roof I cut off of one.

Yes there are some small differences but nothing major.

This is the only old posting I could find with a wrecker in Ohio...
