Throttle cable

Does anyone know where to get a shorter throttle cable? This one is way too long.

Re: Throttle cable

I beg to differ. It's only slightly longer than it needs to be.
This one was too long! See the photos of the one the PO installed on my Burban. The blue line shows how it circled the master cylinder.

The shorter one I replaced it with was from a 1975 C20 2wd. I don't have a good photo to show how it fits. If you want I can get one tomorrow.

Re: Throttle cable

Here's a saved link with a few measurements. Not sure if they are the same cable type as it's been a while since I used it.

Re: Throttle cable

Classic Parts of America sells 2 different lengths ....A shorter one for 4WD trucks or one's that have the engine in the rear mounting position. The longer is for 2WD trucks in the stock mount position.
