Any offers? Bought the blocks from a member for $50, new U bolts were $25, shipping in a rate box is $15.

What do you mean by "the correct pinion angle" I am new to this lowering thing, I also have coils all 4 corners.

Re: 2" solid aluminum lowering blocks and new U bolts

I will do my best to explain, anyone else that wants to explain better feel free. As your chassis is lowered or raised in some cases it changes the angle of the drive shaft from the transmission to the differential. Ideally you want to maintain what was the factory angle. This helps reduce the chance of stress on the universal joints and minimize driveline vibrations. The blocks listed have been machined so that as you lower the rear end that angle is maintained. There are several threads on the board related to pinion angles. Believe me, I'm absolutely no expert.
Thanks,
Mike

So what happens if you lower the rear with only using lowered coil springs? Would that also change the pinion angle?

Re: 2" solid aluminum lowering blocks and new U bolts

Not really, the axle brackets are welded to the rear end at a pre established angle. If you were using just square lowering blocks it slightly changes the angle of the rear end. Therefore some people use shims to maintain that angle. In the case of these blocks the machining should eliminate the need for shims.
Thanks,
Mike
