I've bought both and at the end of the day can honestly say they are priced very close, the Scotts being the cheaper of the two. I havent road tested or took a Scotts to the alignment shop yet so I can't really comment fully on the question. Stay tuned though.
An honest side by side would be sweet! Thanks for the update, Del. The Scotts crossmember looks great, but I'm partial to the DM.

<edit>Damn that truck looks awesome.

Re: Project X, with a twist!!!

OK ok, you guys probably thought I fell off the face of the earth. Well almost but I'm back and got some cool stuff coming up. Here's the skinny on the Scotts project, the suspension is up for sale and the chassis is going in a different direction. Let's just say that Dino has started something with those Big Ol tires that I intend to finish. Muhaha that's right...I said it. LOL, Love you Dino.

And sadly Ol Blue balls has taken the journey North to spend it's days in a freezing cold garage the rest of it's life. He's in good hands but I was sad to see him go. I have a couple really cool projects coming up, one will be in the 67-72 forum and one will be in the 55-59 hangout. Stay tuned, now that I'm done this Model A that's been eating up all my time. Cya soon.

Re: Project X, with a twist!!!

I know what you mean delmo. It was kind of scary on the 67-72 side. It moves a lot faster over there!! When I got the 68 burb and sol the 66 and 62 it took a little while to get accustomed to that side.

You will be welcomed with open arms buddy.
