Very cool GMC. I like how in the first pic of the last pic, your parked behind a 55-59 that looks just like your truck at the start of thread, all multi colored and primered and whatnot. Anyways cool tires and rims and stance and I like the satin finish on the paint

I have a leaf spring gmc and plan on going the same route you did. What size blocks do you have and what size notch did you end up putting in? Also did you run into any major problems when installing your rearend setup.

Those are 3" blocks that I'm running, you're gonna have to reset your pinion angle and probably raise your carrier bearing. I raised my carrier bearing with a spacer I made up at work, I believe an inch. Another thing was that my cross member hung way low and I ended up snagging it on a manhole cover, made for an unexpected surprise. I cut the lower portion of the crossmember out but that is only while I buy my lowered crossmember. Most critical part though is to tuck your exhaust, after lowering it that much, my exhaust caught something while in reverse and snapped my exhaust manifold causing me to yell out some choice words. Hope this helps.

Those are just standard 15x7 4 1/2 to 5 on 5 unilug supremes, the rears are a little close to the insides of the bed but that's only because i used an '83 rearend. I'm planning on running a s10 rear which is narrower just so I can run 15x7 reverse.

Re: 1964 gmc

Hey ol skool, thanx, i got the pleated vinyl locally, i think that any upholstery warehouse would carry it or be able to order it for you. The company i got it from is called Keyston and is located in North Hollywood, if it helps it goes by lightning white. Hope this helps.
