Post your Suburban seats!

It seems hard for me to believe but I can't seem to find a thread for 3 door Suburban seats. If I'm just stupid tell me but otherwise let the posting began.

Here is my current ones and the ones I plan on swapping in. 2015 GMC fronts and 75 Burban second row.

Re: Post your Suburban seats!

I had quite a good 'seat' weekend last week. Just getting to posting the pictures now. I placed an ad on the local version of craigslist looking for the correct seats for my burb. Got a few replies, and after several weeks of text messages and phone calls everything came together. First the bench seats on saturday.

The blue ones are a matched set of middle and rear seats complete with all the armrests, brackets and feet (no hold down clips). 6 seat belts too (although they are a little rough)

And the black one is a full width seat from a single rear seat burb also complete with armrests, brackets and feet. No seatbelts on this one.

And then these on Sunday...

A bit rougher, but going to be awesome when they're done.

Re: Post your Suburban seats!

Here are my Two Rear seats. I like to two tone seat but it’s not Houndstooth. I’m not sure what pattern this is. The burban is a 68.

I believe it is a OE seat thread and I wanted a place for all the aftermarket or other seat conversions to post.

Re: Post your Suburban seats!

My front seats I recently shared in another thread:

Here's a pic of my second row bucket frame that I made.

I have matching vinyl and a HD sewing machine, I just haven't made the covers.

No pics of my third seat. It matches but I made it from a folding square body seat where I rounded the upper corners to look original

Re: Post your Suburban seats!

Here are my old seats, blue buckets from a newer burb, and a brown bench from who knows what. Got rid of them and am planning on installing some 2016 Tahoe 2nd row seats in the front and rear. I also have a 3rd row from a Ford Explorer that matches pretty well to use as a 3rd row for the burb. I think I'm gonna have to use the TMI Dash Pad and make some door panels to make them match better. Painting the truck Victory Red. Blue has never been my color. I also wanted something with safety latches to attach car seats for the little ones, though, by the time I get it back from paint up and running, I wouldn't be surprised if my kids are out of car seats.

Great work! Are you going to have the 3rd door seat flip or slide to allow access to the 3rd row seats?
I would love to see your 3rd row seat. Are you using the early metal backed version? I am contemplating rounding the corners of my second row square body seat.

Good stuff! I like the rear overhead console you have there.

Oh no, that was one of the first things to go, along with the carpet glued directly to the vinyl headliner. The previous owner also had a similar overhead in front, too.

Whoops. I was thinking you were building a new rear A/C unit.

I like the idea of having a fold flat second seat. Here is a thread I started awhile back in case anyone is thinking fold flat second seat.

Re: Post your Suburban seats!

These are the seats that almost were. They didn't work out for me due to complications with the square body fold down seats I had previously installed. They fit the truck well and I was excited to put them in. They are 2015 GMC seats.
