chopping 1962 c10

Hi Guys, I am a new guy here on this forum. I purchased my pick up in 1994 in Saskatchawan. Brought her home and gave her a face lift, I will post pics later. She looked great. Then she got cancer, and sat at home for the better part of 10 or 12 years. Now its time to resurect her. I got big plans for her.
#1 chop the roof.
#2 suicide doors.
#3 9 inch rearend.
#4 rebuild the 350 4bolt main.
#5 possibly use a mustang or iroc complete front end.
Anyone here try such a project, if so your input would be greatly appreciated.
Also pis of any 62's chopped, I hear the windshield is next to impossible to cut.
Anyone here live close to Cambridge ont. canada.
Also anyone have parts for sale, like doors or fleetside box.

Re: chopping 1962 c10

check out my 60 build, Iin my sig. I have chopped it, but have not done the windshield next.
I had heard that 3 inches is about the max you can cut and still be able to cut and fit an original windshield.

if you search chop on the main 60-66 forum there are a couple of threads with lots of pics.
