fan wiring

I was wondering if anyone here is running a dual electric fan set up and if so do you have a diagram or info on your set up? I currently have two 14" fans with a hayden 226204 fan relay kit. Would I need to run another bigger relay for the additional Fan? The instructions show an optional fan but I want to make sure I install it right the first time.

Thanks

Re: fan wiring

You'll find a kinds wiring diagrams.
Harnesses have options for single or dual fans. I've run both.
I currently use a Painless wiring harnes. It runs both fans. It has extra thick wiring. It helps since I use a 145 amp alternator.
Here are a few examples:

Re: fan wiring

Try this on for size. I am running a couple wiring set ups from this company and they work real well.

Re: fan wiring

Get the 195 or your fans will be on all the time.
