Here's a nice Suburban. My wife doesn't like the color or I'd be on my way to look it at.

I like the color. I like colors that emulate period correctness.

We like colors that look period correct also. The grey on my ‘51 isn’t an original color but I chose a non metallic that I thought would look like a 50’s color.

The problem is I showed my wife a few saddle colored trucks ( my favorite color for the 60-66) and she really wants that on a Suburban. I need to just build the one I have but I know I will end up spending more $$ than what the seller wants for this one.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

66 C20 327 4-sp. $7500
Great color combo, off white over dark aqua.
Not certain if original 327 (i.e. it's orange.. but you never know until you check to see if it could have been original)

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

Ok, brace yourselves....

65 C20 BBW with the cool red seat (and check out the gorgeous camper (optional at additional cost)) $12K

66 C20 Custom Camper original 327/TH400, PS, PB, 49K orig mi time capsule w/10' Alaskan in one of my favorite paint colors.. $18.5K
And worth every penny (in my book). If the timing was right, this would already be here in TX... Wash, wax, add seat cover, enjoy. Man oh man I love this truck...

Love em both actually, both great looking 3/4 tonners.

Looks like the engine was running when the pic was taken of the gold one.

Both very interesting trucks. The saddle one is loaded with great options. Just about as good as it gets. I smell a repaint though on that one. Wheel lock rings are gold, black-out behind grill is gone, gold paint on hood latch release, etc. Also, seat is recovered at 49K miles? I have seen and owned several trucks with near perfect original upholstery with twice that milage. Still, a great find.

Good eye Bruce - I didn't even think about repaint, but I'd have to agree, very likely.
