Headliner Remover ?

I'm getting ready to replace the headliner in my 97 GMC SLE 3 door Ext Cab.

Looking at how to remove this liner looks pretty straight forward except in the back on the drivers side where the extended window plastic covering comes off.

Like all the other coverings, is this just held in place with clips, & is it in 2 parts? i.e. upper & lower below the side of the seat? Or is this just 1 big plastic covering from top of headliner to the floor?

I'm hoping not to have to remove the back seat.

any help or pics on this???

Re: Headliner Remover ?

Going from memory when I replaced mine: be careful not to bust the plastic tabs toward the front of the plastic piece on each side. They break easily. The edge in the window has clips that need to be pulled straight down gently.
