1965 GMC K20 Production Figures - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I’ve search the forum and can only find numbers for Chevy trucks. It appears that Chevy built around 1,300 of the 1965 K20s with fleet side bed. I would guess the GMC’s to be around 1,000 or less. Does anybody have any hard numbers to share? Thank you.

I went to GM heritage center and downloaded a PDF that has that info on it and much more. You might try it.

There are no numbers for GMCs . There is a 6066 GMC forum you can ask on but everyone says they were lost in a fire or about 1/2 of what Chevy produced.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been on the 6066 GMC page. Will have to ask their experts. I figured roughly 75% of the Chevy prod figure. You think closer to 50%, Huh?

Thats been what Ive been told by the GMC guys on that site. Have not asked in many years , so it will be interesting to here. You would think it would be a bit higher , but who knows. Love to see some real numbers.
