Re: Longhorn Mans Western Tour 2007

I will second Andy comment of Mark (CG) going above and beyond. He helped me out after sending Andy off. Thank you very much Mark. I really appreciate it. You are what the board is all about. I have been a slacker for too long and my check is going in the mail to be a site supporter. Everyone that I have met on the board are really great people.

I also Agree on Andy being a Cool Guy, He seem's to always be there to help out with his knowledge. He's like a Database for 67-72 Chevy Trucks.

Re: Longhorn Mans Western Tour 2007

Dang, I just get home from Idaho and Wyoming, and find out Andy is out that way. My timing was off, LOL! Oh, and I spent a night in that area west of Cheyenne on the trip back, it was windy, cold, and jeez are there a lot of trucks and overall traffic on I-80! Less traffic on I-70 we found.
Cool story about a bunch of great people, more proof that this is the greatest board there is! 3 cheers to all of you involved, and thanks for sharing!
Happy trails Andy, and safe travels too!

Re: Longhorn Mans Western Tour 2007

I'm still at work so I haven't had a chance to talk to him today but I think he's still in the Denver area. He wasn't sure exactly when he was leaving the area last night when I talked to him.

He had mentioned from here he was going straight up I-70 all the way home.

The plan could have changed though.

just sent him a text find if he's on the road or still here.

Re: Longhorn Mans Western Tour 2007

I just heard back from Andy,,,,,He's pulling out of the Denver area now.

If you want to know about the story behind his truck you'll have to ask him. Believe me it's worth hearing and puts a new perspective on the comrodery(sp?) of the members on this board.

Rambler,
I passed your message on to him.

Just got through to him, sounds like he's having a "burbarific" time! And I'm listening to "East bound and down" ... how ironic
