Re: Header Solution

Nothing for BB yet and the only way we found to deal with the manual linkage issue was to convert it to hydraulic system.

Re: Header Solution

There is no way it can be done with the template we built. We would have to have a truck with that motor setup in it.

Look like nice headers. I could use a set for BB if you decide to make some.

Re: Header Solution

I'm not sure. I'll look in to it. Does Vintage Air use a bracket off the exhaust bolts to hold the compressor?

Re: Header Solution

I'm pretty sure they will with 90 degree boot, short header plugs and running the wires in the factory location. I will look in to this and let you know.

it depends on which brackets you getr from Vintage Air..

the Steel-Eez brackets mount off the exhaust manifold

but if you opt for the alan grove brackets they dont come off the manifold.

but every kit ove seen on our teucks mounts off the manifold, haent seen one with the alan grove brackets yet

Re: Header Solution

How about for a LT1 in a 67 C10 with a 4L60E automatic transmission? No matter what I do, I can't get the headers to not leak I have installed. They leak on both sides out of the flanges that bolt to the aluminum heads.

Re: Header Solution

They should fit your truck with no problems. Just have to use lokar transmission linkage.

Re: Header Solution

I will get some as soon as finances allow. I would want either the 1 3/4 primary uncoated or 1 3/4 coated, can't afford the expense of the stainless. Non-stainless still available, right? 3.0 inch collector?
