Im 27. I own a 71 gmc 3/4 ton p-up. ive only owned it for about 2 years but my dads owned it for about 16 years.

I bought my first one when I was 19, still have it but shes just sitting for now. And just bought my 67 at 24. I will be 25 in feburary and plan on buying another one soon. Wish I would have got one a LONG time ago, for as much as I have put into all my other vehicles I could have one really BAD A$$ truck by now.

I bought my first 67-72 at age 24, that was 29 years ago and someday I'll buy/builg a 67-72 pickup.
I've had 4 complete ones so far.

I'm 41, have had my 67 three years. I drove dad's 70 3/4 ton for the first time when I was 12. He sold it before I got my license. Need to get mine on the road!

im 19 dad bought a 72 suburban wheni was 6 andtried to sell it but i wanted it so he gave it to me when i was 9 and held onto it and i worked on it with him and now drive it all the time just got myself a 69 about a month ago also

My parents bought my 69 second hand, in 1977. I bought it off them in 1987, when I turned 16. Have had it since. Hasn't seen too many miles the last 10-15 years, but I have gotten the bug to work on it, and drive it again.

I bought my 1968 when I was 15 and was driving it when I turned 16. I am now 35 and still driving it, not every day but I did put 2400 miles on it this year. I also had a 1971 for a couple years and a lot of parts trucks including 3 that I still own. I also have a buddy that is 59 that has a 1969 Chevy C10 stepside.

I currently own: 1940 Chevy Fire truck (project), 1946 Chevy truck (project), 1946 Chevy 1 Ton pick up, 1953 Chevy school bus (storage area), 1968 Chevy C10 (I have drove for 26 years), 1994 Chevy C2500 (daily driver), 2005 GMC crew cab K2500 (parts hauler) and more trucks for parts. |

My grandpa gave me his 70 c20 longstep about 4 months ago, my first 67-72. I learned to drive in it when I was 15. I'm 23 now. Got a lot of work to do on it but I plan on keeping it til the day I die.

I got mine when I was 35 in 1995. My friends laughed at me for driving a "old beater". After I built the motor they quit laughing.

Got my first when I was 15, I'm now 43 and still have one. My son is 17, and his first was at 15 as well. Starting that family tradition.....

well my buddy was 15 when he got his 1970
i was 16, got it for free (1972) then sold for $1000, then 1 years ago got it back for free again so i just cant get rid of it now so its a project im 21 now

As I was thinking about this, I realized that I have had more trucks than I thought. I started with 66 stepside at 18 then it went to:
71 short box fleetside 75 Gentleman Jim GMC 74 3/4 ton long box 87 Custom Trucks of Texas shortbox 98 Ext Cab shortbox 4X4 00 Ext Cab shortbox 4X4 69 GMC Short stepside Plus a couple of parts trucks I am 58 now and only have the last two trucks. |

First truck @18 had it for 19 years drove it everywhere. met my wife in it sold it in 1990. didn't know I would miss it like i did got the truck on my avatar in 2001 (wife bought it for me) now we have two, 70 step side &71 fleet side. I will always have one or more of these trucks! first one @ 18 now 51 and going strong!! hey great post , have fun. ...Pat
