I'm 63 and have had this one for about ten years. Owned my first 67 when I was 24 or 25. I had a 70 that belonged to my oldest son in between. I don't remember how many 67/72 project trucks that I have drug home only to have someone decide that they wanted one more than I did. Every time I get a shortbed someone else decides they have to have it. The 71 is probably the last full sized truck that I will own. It does everything that I want a truck to do and I can't see my way to making truck payments just to drive something new even though every time I have to work on it to drive to work I'm tempted.

I got a 72 when i turned 16, totaled it 2 months later and got my 67 that i have had ever since. Im 24

Bought my first 69' swb fleet at 23 . 40 and now building #5 . Will always have one around .

Now 47 but my first was a 72 GMC short fleetside when I was 30. I bought my 72 chevy short fleet a few months ago. It needs a lot of work but is currently my daily driver until funds are available for a makeover.

41, 72 k-10 swb bought at age 38. I have been obsessed since age 8. My dad owned mech. shop, a 69 k-10 would show up every now and then for maintanece. My dad would secretly let me drive it around the parking lot because I would not get out of it. I finally own THE ONE. I'm currently driving it cross country from CA to FL. I will never part with it. 12mpg...so what.

WOW ALMOST THE SAME STORY HERE first one i got was when i was 15 a 69 short box gmc then when i was 16 i bought a 67 chev long box. rolled it a few months latter, truck was way to fast. Then i got my 68 gmc short box 4x4 a few months ago, I am 33 now. You can never grow to old for these trucks and what a great way to bring you back to your youth..... ah the sound of gasoline sloshing around behind your seat.. nothing beats it

im 37. I wanted a 72 sooooooooooooooo bad when i was 17.never became available to me.years later when I was 34 i bought a 67 for my son at 15 so he and my husband could have a father son project. It was done for his 16th birthday.he has since bought a camaro and gave the 67 to my husband.I think it will stay in the family for a while

Im 45 now I have had mine for about 5-6 years and still havent finished it. Plus I have another swb 4x4 that I am going to get around to one of these days LOL!

Got my first one (a 68 GMC lwb 4x4)when I was 32. I'm 35 now and and sold that one to make room for a 67 swb C10 and a 67 lwb C20.

37. I bought a 67 when I turned 16, bought a 70 a few months later then decided two pickups were not needed. Decided to put both up for sale and see which sold first and keep the other, ended up selling both. Bought my 70 Blazer about 7 years ago and just bought a 68 C-50.
