Anybody use this kind of radio?

Don't want to hack my dash up, but want to plug my iPod into it to listen to my music.

I think this will do the job.

I think you will have to cut the dash for that. I know that not every buddy can spend $160 on a radio but I order this and I can plug my Ipod it http://www.jcwhitney.com/custom-auto...51327y1972g2j2

I just put one of those e-bay radio's in my truck today. It will fit without without cutting the dash but you have to extend the shafts all the way to the outside and add some spacers between the dash and the radio. It sounded good to be a cheap radio.

Do you have an IPod or MP3 player? Just curious how that sounded.

Re: Anybody use this kind of radio?

I sent mine back a few days ago to the seller. The ipod jack was twisted up from the factory. Did not tune well either. You will not need to cut your dash.

I picked up this radio from Autozone. Much better quality for a cheapo.

Re: Anybody use this kind of radio?

I bought a similar Pyle off ebay a couple of years ago for my 77 and agree that they are junk. One big drawback is the radio has no controls for pre-setting stations, this one appears to lack that too, it's a real pain to have to dial in a station each time you want to change channels.
