72 Jimmy bench seat question

So a few weeks back I bought a seat that I'm told came from a suburban around the same year. Problem is this seat is the removable type so I would have to cut and weld the clips into the floor (which I do have) to install this seat.
There's a local guy selling a bench seat from a 73 blazer for reasonable price...my question is will this seat from the 73 blazer be a direct bolt in fit for my 72 GMC Jimmy?

Re: 72 Jimmy bench seat question

Suburbans that year didn't have the removable kind, they all bolted to the floor. Someone else asked the question about the 73 seat the other day but not sure he got an answer. I don't know 100 percent but pretty sure it doesn't bolt directly in
I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will chime in. I did read that the armrest will bolt on to the 72 seats. I'm assuming you were talking about rear seat, at least that's what I was commenting on. I have an original rear seat I'll sell if interested I can post some pictures.

Here is the picture of the bench seat I have. I was told it was from a Suburban but maybe someone can verify. It does have armrest similar to the blazer. Notice the clip in place lock brackets.

Yea, that's the wrong year even with the correct brackets you'll have trouble making that work.

Yes, sent a pm in case you don't revisit the thread, the forum hasn't been setting tread update notices.
