tire size for stock ride height
what tire size are you running on 8 inch ralleyes. my 69 dd has no drop stock ride height. going to get some new tires and the 235/75 on there now look a bit small. any suggestions

Mine has 255/70-15. Previous owner chose that size because he said they were the same diameter/circumference as the original tires that came on the truck,so the speedo would register the same

mine had 31x10.5's all around when I got it, now I still just need to replace the backs. They looked a little tall though.

I have 255/70/15s on 8 in rallys and they look pretty good. If i had my choice, i would have 275/60/15s all the way around. That is the best looking tire ive seen on these trucks. It will be around 28 in tall and have a great width and shouldnt effect your speedometer.

All of the tire sites online list 235/75's being the closest in size to stock. Those are 28.88 inches tall according to the discount tire calculator. So 275/60's would be almost exact on your speedometer and look the best imo.

i put some 31's on mine and while the performance drop is noticeable its minor, not that bad. my speedo reads about 4 mph slow @ a 50 mph. they look like they belong on the truck.
