Re: Durabrand

I know there are zillions of in-dash cassette players that`ll slip right in,since they used to be standardized.I have an Olds AM in my`Sierra.Looks factory.I have an Alpine for my next resto.

Re: Durabrand

ok i actually found the radio so here are some pics and insructions. the radio does fit without cutting.
first remove the 2 screws that are where the circled holes are and pull off the radio knobs and the nuts behind the knobs.

then remove the face plate and the brackets and run the lower nuts down the shafts so that the face plate can hold the radio to the dash.

put the radio in the dash

put the face plate back on the radio

tighten down the nuts over the face plate

reinstall the knobs

i doubt i am going to use this radio in my truck, i got a radio delete plate a couple years ago an will probably put a radio in the glove box. of course all of ths is a ways off since i need a motor, do a frame swap and do a fair bit of body work. 32 bucks is pretty good for this radio, i didnt get much use out of it because the subaru it came with has yet to see the road because i am rebuilding the motor before getting it on the road.
