Dying radio

Need some help, I have a 2006 pickup and lately only the passenger side door speakers work like they should. The door chime, drivers door speakers and rear door speakers work intermittently. I pulled radio out of dash thinking it may be loose connection, but not the case. Also a few months back the volume knob lights went dark and also the steering wheel control for volume and seek went dark. Just seeking advice, is this a for sure radio problem? Or could it be something else?

ive seen the wires break in the door jam and make windows not work
try a temp wire?
but don't know about the lights
