1971 Suburban

I found this online at pic n pul and may go check it out during the week for a few parts I need. It is about 60 miles from me so Im hoping I will have the time to do this. Anybody want me to look for anything for them? Let me know.

Re: 1971 Suburban

Cant tell from the pic if it has the engine or not. If it has a complete big block would like an 8 piece a/c bracket set.

Re: 1971 Suburban

Well I was able to get down there and bought a few parts. The truck was pretty complete at that time. Body was rusty but the interior was somewhat complete. It has a green interior with front bench and rear seat. No tears in the seats good driver quality. Someone snagged the 373 posi unit before I got there. Has a 350 engine with 350 trans with the odometer at 99000. Aftermarket air on it along with aftermarket cruse. I will list the things I have that are for sale after I go through everthing that I am keeping. I will start a for sale thred and give the people first dibs who posted BEFORE this post on item that they expressed interest on. If they all pass then It will go to the first "Ill take it".

No I didnt. Pretty much ran out of time. No carpet but it did have a green rubber mat. Had a few cracks in it but not bad.

Re: 1971 Suburban

I just left there. I got the cigarette lighter wire for 3 bucks. The dog house and core support including the hood and front bumper(ex. the inner fenders were rusty)were decent. They wanted 350 for that. I might go get it , I do not know if I want to spend the doe right now. The engine and trans look original, trans linkage there to. Windsheild frame is there. Headliner is in great shape. Passanger side doors are very nice, but they are square are the corners so they will not work on a pickup. Nice looking wiring harnesses. Back bumper looks good to. Bad thing is they won't let you bring in a torch, but you can bring a generator and sawzall! Window regulators and door parts were gone. Front seat is gone but the middle seat is there laying on the ground. What a bummer, alot of nice parts but that place can be hard to deal with, it is 5 minutes from my office so I know them well. I rarely make any deals with them, too pricey. But they are having a 50% off sale now thru Monday. I looked for other trucks are year there, but there were none.
