Picked Up Another LS Engine Today

-
I bought this today. It is out of a 2001 Chevy 4x4 pickup. Truck was rolled but was yard drivable, so I got to hear it run. Sounded good. Not sure what pickup I will put it in but it will have a 5 speed overdrive behind it. $500 and I helped pull it. He has another one just like it I can get for $400 but the Alt. bracket is cracked and can't be started because the truck has more damage..

Re: Picked Up Another LS Engine Today

I can get a 8.1L running vortec for $800 and here is a brand new (never installed) 5.3L close to me for $2k. Both are very tempting but a divorce would cost a lot more..

It's how I got my 5.3L, and a 4.8L as well. Spent a little more for the 8.1L truck.

It's a 5.3L. I would rather have a 6.0 but I can't find one reasonable.

I already have an 8.1/Allison 6 speed auto combo. I just don't know what to put it in.....

It won't be sold anytime soon unless he refresh the ad and someone sees it. He did a small misspell in the ad, lol. If you come pick it up, lets meet and greet. It's about 15 min from my house. I am sending you a PM with the link.
