Has anyone ordered from http://www.radiator.com/ BB has another pin hole leak , this is the second one that the Stop leak has taken care of ,but I think it's time to eather replace the core or order another radiator .
This place has BB rad for 203 +tax& ship.

Yes, I ordered one and it wasn't correct. I had a tough time getting them to take it back and I was still out the return shipping. I wound up getting one from a local shop - not much higher and it's much nice to deal with someone face to face.

Check and see if they have an office/shop near you. That way, you can take yours/your measurements in. They have locations all over and stock some of the common ones. With our trucks, as I am sure you know, the application doesn't always match the actual radiator. Their prices are good and if you measure yours, maybe even take a pic also, you should be in good shape. I was going to get one of theirs but ended up just getting mine rebuilt for $85.

Tell you a secret!! It's the same 4 row radiator for all of them. They don't make them without transmission coolers any more either, so they are now the same for automatic transmissions as they are for standards. They just have plugs for the tranny lines. The only thing you have to worry about is wether you have the strait lower radiator nozzle or the one that is angled up... Also call there number and do it over the phone. That way they will discribe the radiator to you. They will also try to give you a higher price, so be prepaired for that and tell them that there on-line price is $164.00 and they will adjust the price for you. As far as quallity goes..... I had trouble with one of the late model aluminum radiators, but they warrenteed it without any problems. I have purchased over 15 or so radiators for our trucks from them (copper and brass) and have not had any problems with them. I have however had more than one dammaged in shipping and they have replaced them immediatly also and picked up the old one. Wes ; Thanks that is what I found when I called the # Quoted me a higher price when I told them the Internet price was 203 ,said no problem would match that ,I'll try to check the 71 Sub rad .

Wes just talked to one of there tech couldn't get a answer as to are they the same rad , only that they are the same dimension and available lower hose pointing upward ,which is what I need .

I was told by the sales rep the difference in price was because of the heater hose fitting was not on the radiator that cost $164. If you wanted it, you have to pay more which I would guess is the $203 price.

That is what they told you, but your responce should have been that the Suburban has that same heater hose connection and that the price on the internet is $164.00...... They will come down, believe me they have several times for me..... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Thanks for all the Info. Located a local Radiator supplier that had a Modine ,that was the exact match for mine , It was 195 and picked it up and installed it yesterday along with a new water pump .

I had a Radiator made for a Impala it was $250 it was equal to a 6 core. it was a Desert Cooler by US Radiator.They also make them for trucks,i was going to have one made for the 67 with the 468 it could idle all day in 120 degree weather.

The ones with the angled bottom fitting are aways more. Any time I buy a radiator for one of these trucks I aways get the 73 up radiator that has the straight bottom fitting, they are aways cheaper anywhere you check. Do some minor triming to a 73 up bottom hose and it looks factory. I refuse to pay more money for something that no one would ever notice
