GM 10 Bolt Backing Plate
Does anyone know if the disc brake backing plate is interchangeable between GM 10 bolt front axles 1/2 ton (6 lug) and 3/4 (8 lug)?

Yes and no. The 3/4 ton are taller to clear the bigger rotor.
