I like it, I like it alot!

What is the total weight you can put on it?

I have been looking for one of these, but I never have found out the GVW.

I keep buying old trucks, so it would be cool to go pick one up with an old "matching" truck.

Re: 1 ton dually pics post

Here's mine. It has 57k on the chassis but sat for years with a bent diff. The po replaced the diff with a 14 bolt and the engine had siezed from sitting so a newer small block went in. It was originally a grain truck but the box and hoist was removed. The PO had a deck laying around so I picked it up too. I advertised looking for a scissor hoist and here in farm country I had no shortage of replies. A hundred bucks later I had all the parts I needed. The PTO pump was still in the chassis. I use it around our acreage and here it is set up for hauling our water.

The car on the back of the 68 C30 is a Alfa Romao sports car from the 50's, nice matching pair.

Here`s one helping a brother out:

Pretty sure I saw one of these moving trucks today it was the same butt ugly color had the 2 hole bud wheels, and west coast mirrors. Someone had put a flatbed on it in 94. It was originally equipped with an automatic which would make sense for a moving truck. I'm contemplating buying it once I get a job.

Here's my latest toy. A 69 Custom 30 wrecker. I literally saved this one right out of a junkyard. It was down in the yard and some parts were sold from it before I got it. (luckily I tracked down most of those parts and got them back)

Plans are to restore this truck back to like new condition. It will be driven just for fun on occasion, mostly doing this to preserve a bit of history (and the fact that I love this truck!)

Truck is showing 49,000 and it's possibly original but have to confirm that yet. It was a one owner truck, owned by a body shop a few miles from me. Last on the road in 1987. 350, 4 bbl, 4 speed w/4.10 rear. May not look like it but this truck runs GREAT! It can still tow too, I practiced with a parts car just for fun.
