1982 GMC Sierra- cab corner wires

Hi Guys,

I am restoring a 1982 GMC Sierra. I removed the interior from the truck about three years ago to allow for rust repair. I am now putting it back together and am having a hard time with the wires that run along the drivers rocker and plug into wires going up into the cab from the drivers side cab corner. I believe one wire is for the interior light...what is the other wire for?

Two wires would be the power and switched ground for the dome light.
Off the top of my head Orange hot and White switched ground from the door and headlamp switch but I'm not positive on those colors.

My 81 C20 has one wire that goes to the seat belt.

Should have connector on it cab corner Driver side if you have the rear top dome light another orange wires and white wire harness from light to the top 1/4 of the cab corner.

If you have seat belt light/buzzer as said black or white wire there (check your yr). I Have all was have mine unplugged.73-85 cars and truck I owned.
