Help me ID/Source these random door parts please

Anyone know if there are aftermarket replacements and proper names for

1) the dome light door switch
2) the square 1/4” nut that goes behind the armrest
3) and this little rubber cushion that supports the inner door panel

And would someone mind telling me if my rear diff is ‘open’? I believe it is, but my spider says I have Posi, though the gears have been changed....

Thanks gang

If you have an ACE hardware near you go there and look for "cage nuts" for the arm rest parts. They will be in the slide out fastener boxes.

The door switch and the bumper are commonly available. Classic Industries is where I got mine at.

Contact GMCPauls for the electrical. It is made by the same company that is the remants of DELCO before GM bought and sold them.

For some odd reason, I will only be dealing with GMC Pauls in the future on lots of things.

Thanks for the tips guys!

Do you think any vendors stock that cage nut? Trying not to venture out into corona land any more than I have to...

I'm bumping this thread because I have searched high and low for this interior door panel bumper/support rubber thing (3rd pic down), emailed all the vendors, no one has ever heard of it? I wish I knew the name/where to get one.

What year is your truck and where exactly does the small rubber bumper go? I don't remember seeing anything like that on these trucks.

Re: Help me ID/Source these random door parts please

Lockdoc,

It's a 1972, and it was just under the inside edge of the plastic door panel at the bottom, near where the white plastic thingamajigs click into place. It seemed to serve as a vibration bumper against the plastic panel.

If no one's seen it, I suppose it could be aftermarket? Sure looked factory though.

I have quite a few '72 door panels. I will check them when I go out and see if any of them have anything like that.

Thanks LockDoc. The cushion was screwed to the door itself, the panel just rested on top of it...?

OK, I don't have any '72 doors left except the ones on the '72 Dually work truck. I'm wondering if someone added those for some reason.
