Got any pictures of your medium blue (spid code 510) pickup???

Helped a friend buy a 71 C10. It'll be a work in progress. Was painted another color.

Thanks, HO
I was hoping for just some 510 medium blues. I think I have a couple spotted in that thread.

In 1967, 506 was medium blue if I recall correctly.
Here's the SPID, which uses a different set of numbers, and the truck which was repainted in GM 506 medium blue last year.

Previous post edited. Correct paint code for 1967 is GM 506.
GM code WE5146 is used in cross reference chart.
I do not know what the paint reference on my SPID means.

1970 GM medium blue is GM501. GM code WE5178. There is also a GM510. I attach the website for reference.

Re: Got any pictures of your medium blue (spid code 510) pickup???

Thanks, Mr.P.
I like the color of your 67, A LOT!!! My buddy with his newly acquired 71 likes it too!!!
I believe the medium blue for 67 vs the medium blue for 71 were very different, from the color charts I have saved on my computer.
A friend of mine had a 67 LWB, same color as yours. He passed about 18 years ago, his son in Marietta Georgia has it now. My 67 will very likely end up the color of yours!!!

Are those hubcaps, aftermarket caps, like I see on Cooper Restoration website (and maybe sold by others? THey look good!!!)

Correct, 67-68 506 medium blue is an entirely different color (and also a metallic paint) from 71-72 510 medium blue. 501 RPO medium blue was a one-year only metallic in 1970.

Here are a couple 510s for you. Also note that in 71, 72 paint codes 542 and 481 are the Conventional and Deluxe two tone versions, respectively (with white sec color). The Custom Two Tone versions are 558 (med blue primary/dark blue roof) and 559 (dark blue primary/med blue roof) - pics 4 and 5.

Re: Got any pictures of your medium blue (spid code 510) pickup???

You are correct, Jocko. The 1967 GM 506 is metallic and completely different than GM 510 and GM 501. Not sure what the paint code on the SPID means, in my truck. I bought this from the second owner and he said the (tired) paint was original to the truck, as was the interior. So I believe it was painted correctly.
Hubcaps are from a Nova of the same vintage. They are cheap, plentiful, and look pretty good. I never could locate any original style hubcaps and I don't think anyone makes new ones.
