12 volts while cranking

I just finished install of a Sniper fuel injection kit. Very slick but I have problems finding an ignition switched source that stays at 12 volts during cranking? All of the ones I've tried drop out during cranking.

I can get stuff up and running if I jump the trigger wire to 12 volts directly. Do I have to go to the back of the switch instead of the fuse box? Maybe the purple solenoid wire?

I've probed with a VMM but haven't found anything that stays 12 volts during cranking. This is a 1972 C30 with a 454 transplant and HEI distributor (if it matters). Any ideas? Thanks!
