swaped from a Holley to Quadrajet now need a new throttle/TV cable bracket

I bolted the 50$ Quadrajet i got on Craigslist on for a temporary trial run.It runs great so i am going to keep it but have a few questions. The bracket i had on the Holley will not bolt up to the QJ.I could probally modify it to bolt up on back of carb. bolt by trimming bracket but the TV cable for my 700R4 and the throttle cable for my QJ are staggered where the Holley were in line.If i go to a salvage yard to try to find a bracket what year truck do i look for?
What do i hook the choke port that is open in picture to?There is a vaccumn pulled on this port when engine is running.

The one I have was purchased from Bow Tie overdrive and works great for my Holley/Weiand combo but they also make various other carb/man combos.Bowler also makes a nice one.

Needed rebuilding because it would not run engine unless you pumped the throttle constantly.Did not like adapter from spreadbore to square.
