fusible links
Working on a different vehicle where all the fusible links coming off the starter are shot. I want to replace with bladed fuses so I'm thinking of taking the battery cable to the firewall and there add a junction block and fuse block.
What I'm not sure of is how to achieve this. The battery cable has a ring terminal mid length so this is probably where I can pull power to the junction block. Also the fuse block has the terminals that are all connected. I'm assuming it's going to be a common power coming from battery? |

Re: fusible links
Replacing fusible links with conventional fuses is not a good idea.. Replace those old fusible links with new ones..

Re: fusible links
I seen some harness makers are using max atm fuses in there harness instead of fuseable links
You would need to size them accordingly to the fuseable link ampacity |
