Re: Let me see your garage!!
Mine was pretty much worthless. It was two seperate stalls with a wall in the center. I tore the wall out & put in a beam. Its a lot better now but I still havent found the floor. Will work on that...

Re: Let me see your garage!!
Sure here is my mess! It is a 25x45 poured in place building that was built about 1915. It used to be the cagaige house for our town. In 1928 they added an inground pit for working on Model A's. It has (2) 10x10 doors on the front and one in back behind the front right door so the horses could pull straite in and walk out the back and go the the black smith shop on the corner (now its a bar). I have it split up for a parts storage area, a work area and a vehical starage area but still do not have enought room at all. I have all the metal for a second story but now down time to build it right now. I also have a 12x20 two story parts storage building (old out house). The drivway in front of the shop is 30x45 and the front driveway is 12x65 and still I have vehicals sitting in the dirt waiting their turn for shop time.
No matter how big your shop or garage is you will never have enough room but you will get better about packing it all in their Kevin LFD Inc. |

Re: Let me see your garage!!
I have a little building for the K10.
And the bike and pool table. And my Cub and little compressor and a press if I get motivated enough to work on anything. Backup supply of oil. Dry spot for the Z and the C10 (which still hasn't been washed from the Maggie Valley trip). Dry spot for the little Jeep. The other Z is a little more exposed. |

small 1 1/2 car. It's not normally this messy, but I was in the middle of an engine swap. I've got a lathe and mill in the back.

Re: Let me see your garage!!
i work in one of those open air garages also, we have a 2car garage that the race car sits in right now and have a carport off the garage, the sheets and tarps infront of my truck is the front of our "paint booth" so we can paint the trailer in the carport, during the season the racecar is in the carport and the garage is semi open

Re: Let me see your garage!!
i love my 55, i wouldnt sell. I want to sell some of our other ones. Know anybody interested in a low mileage, 1 owner (before us) 1955 chevy 210 2 door post with a v8 3 speed? Take in mind these cars have absolutely no modifications. We used to show them untll a modified truck beat out my moms 56. Thats the gray one, low mileage no rust always been inside, never been rained on unless the guy was driving it. The most original 56 6cyl 3 speed i think i have ever seen. If we have any offers my dad might be willing to sell, take in mind we arent stupid on the values of our stuff. The 55 cars (green, blue, and red) have been inside since the mid 70s, and rarely driven. Same way with the truck, but i dont know when we aquired it.

Re: Let me see your garage!!
OK....I confess, this isn't mine, but I am fortunate enough to be able to use it.
I work for a company that supplies the collision industry with the type of equipment shown in the pics. This is basically our showroom with all equipment fully functional. We use it to showcase the equipment and as a training facility. If it were only in my back yard!

Garage is kinda a mess right now. Here's some pics. I need to put up more shelfs and put some stuff in the rafters to make more room.
