I couldn't help myself.. I have a soft spot..

It's not my fault really. You put a short bed 4X4 in front of me to buy... Well this was the result..

Jealous. 4x4 anything is love for me. Not sure those straps are regulating much fore and aft movement, but that's me.

Look what happens when you let something sit out long enough in coastal Washington.

Nice find. I see a lot of potential through that camo job.

Re: I couldn't help myself.. I have a soft spot..

The first picture shows only how I got it out of where it was to finnish securing it. Before I drug it 50 miles home, I had straps on both ends 2 pulling the truck forward and 2 pulling the truck back. More than enough to do the job, but sufficient to pass a state patrol inspection. I drove truck for over 20 years and 15 of those were pulling a flatbed. Thanks for the advice but I had it handled.. LOL.

Nice find! When you said soft spot, first place I was thinking was your head but now that I see what you did, I completely understand! I think we all have that soft spot on our heads!

Looking forward to see this once its done! Nice Play CH!

Re: I couldn't help myself.. I have a soft spot..

Thanks Artofdeath. No soft spots in the head... Although my wife might argue that point..

special-K, Believe it or not, this is an original Arizona truck. Probably why it has original A/C. However it has spent many years up here and it had to be drug out of the bushes that grew up around it..

Greg58, I know right!! If it weren't for being able to see the grill in my mirror I would have been pulling over a bunch of time to make sure it was still there..

Re: I couldn't help myself.. I have a soft spot..

I ordered some parts from Classic Heartbeat a few weeks ago. Rear shock brackets and u-bolts to mount them. Very pleased with the service I received. I highly recommend them.

p.s. Nice truck(s)!

Fun! Hey, you should give me that grill. I will give you one to match the paint on your new truck. You're welcome!

That's a great old camping rig! I'd run it as is.
