Help! Power steering leak

Hey everyone,

I am new here and have a power steering leak from the fitting shown in the picture. It leaks from the top of the fitting around the power steering line.. I can get the fitting any tighter than it already is. I removed the fitting and there isn’t a seal or anything, should there be?
Thanks in advance !

Re: Help! Power steering leak

It's a double flare, no seal. Usually you can back off the fitting then re-cinch. Since your removed drive it a bit. If it still leaks, back it off a quarter turn then cinch it down again. What did the the flared end on the line look like. If you can't get the leak stopped get a new line.
