s15 v8 engine swap

greetings, my first post. with a dumb question. i own a 1987 s15 4x4,4.3 auto, with a blown engine. i also own a 1987 chevy wrangler with a 5.7. i would like to transplant the 5.7 into the s15. i need to know avariety of things including compatibility of wiring, can iuse the v 8 water pump. etc. whew. has anyone done this before?

I have a V-8 in my S-10, 2 wheel drive though.

I'd suggest you visit www.jagsthatrun.com they have a book and parts out the wazoo for doing your type conversion.
