Just my 2 cents. Which mean nothing. Ha
Keith thanks for saying I have a high caliber build I appreciate that. I looked into the I will call them the Big Dawg Billet Wheel companies steering wheels. Idk just seemed like they all looked real busy looking if that makes sense. But o my friend don't you worry. What you see is just standard edition wheel. Keep your eyes on my thread cause what you and everyone will see here in a couple of weeks will change you mind about the steering wheel and the interior. The steering wheel and the dash and bezel all will be nothing like anyone has in a C10.

Underneath. Clips came installed. For a non OE dash pad this is the best one I have seen period. This is as close to OE that you will get. Happy I did my research and found the Cheyenne Pickup Parts dash!

Nice. Did not know that Funk. It is honestly not flimsy at all. I can take it hold it in the middle and hold it in front of my face with one hand and it won't flex or bow like I have seen others do. They did a good job on it. Vinyl looks like original. I am happy with it and I am hard to make happy lol. I got a few other things also but nothing worth posting lol. Happy I found that discount code for Classic Part of America saved me some $$.

Glad I'm not the only perfectionist. Have to pull my lifters and camshaft that are brand new. They make way too much noise and thought I could live with it but can't.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Going to get my truck painted in a few weeks. During that time engine will be pulled so I can do the cam/lifter change. Believe it or not I had too much torque low end so using this opportunity to put something a little bit bigger in to kill the low end. Couldn't drive if it was wet outside.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

489ci. 221/229 at .50 and .575 lift.

Going to a custom grind from isky.

114 Lobe separation
108 ICL
.600 234 @ .50
.578 238 @.50

Got nothing but finger pointing from the previous company. Going to shoot video of new stuff and compare it to old and tell them to give my money back. We will see don't have high hopes. It sounds like a sewing machine in my engine bay.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

And it will be a new truck. Engine has barely 1000 miles, same for tranny and rear end. Just will need suspension wheels and interior.

Yep that's a fairly big motor. And yes it is new with less than a grand on it.

My A pillars showed up today. Truck won't be the original 3 shades of green anymore. Blacking it out and adding my custom touch to it.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

The only hang up I am having is deciding on what I want to do with the door panels. Besides that I have it all planned out but like anything that could change also.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

My dad just got a 86 blazer and it looks like it has the aftermarket door panels. They suck. I have the originals on my 74 not sure how I'm going to resurrect them or replace them with.

No no it won't be aftermarket door panels. They will be custom. I will still use a few things from my original panels cause they are in great condition.
