just a basic question: what are you welding the pan to if you still want to be able to remove the fenders independently? do you make a bracket behind it?

I havent bought the roll pan yet so maybe this is all very obvious when I actually have the part together.

If you want the completely smooth look in the front, you don't remove the fenders independently anymore. You have to remove the whole front clip at once. Some detailed pics in my build thread of the frame modification and the welded together front clip w/ front rollpan if you are curious. Still not painted yet though so can't see the final results yet.

If you don't mind the seams, the other option is to just screw the front roll pan into each fender. On mine, there was a tab on each end of the rollpan used to attach to each fender to hold it in place.
