Re: settle a bet!

Heres my thoughts on this, if its a solid truck take time and money and do a decent job. A beater or rat flat it and forget it. If you have a garage, shed barn etc. Buy a at least a 7 hp 60 gal compressor and a $100 gun. Practice and spray. I don't count tools in a truck budget I look at other use. I used S/W Diminsion B/C with hardner and reducer $ 250. Got the above gun and compressor. First time didn't come out like it should. Thought what I done asked for some advice and gonna change some things. Spent last week re-sandin' and ready to try again. Still only have $800 or so and the to say I did it " Priceless '' No offense to anyone but rollers and brushes are not for cars and trucks.

There is no way this compares to a real paint job, of course, but this was the only way for my budget.
No way, you made your truck look that good using a rustoleum rattle can? Man is this a sick joke or something? It looks great, I'm very impressed. I'm tempted to try it myself now...
