Bezel aluminum trim

Hello everyone. Im in the process of cleaning up my interior in my 1985 chevy 4x4 short box. New carpet, headliner and seats. I would like to spruce up the bezel as well, all the fake aluminum has faded and the po scrubbed it with scotch brite or something, it looks terrible. Im wondering if any body has used the dash bezel trim (brushed aluminum) self adhesive backing from LMC. Its a lot to pay for a giant sticker, Just wondering about the quality and looks if anyone has used it. Cheers Thanks for all the help. Great site.

Welcome!!
I did the same with my truck when I first got it. I ended up buying a new bezel and the overlay. I never installed the overlay, I loved my new bezel. While you have the bezel out, I would suggest getting a new plastic lens too. Got everything from LMC.

Thanks for the advice. Pictures look great. Mine doesn't have the chrome on the edges of the gauges. Yours looks really sharp. The new plastic lens is a great idea. Thanks.

My original didn't either, but when I saw this at LMC, I thought it looked sharp. After that, I just couldn't see putting the overlay on it. Here's a pic of the interior, just after I bought it. And then after.
