4/6 or 5/7 drop
Does anyone have any photos of these 2 drops? ! Can't figure out which way to go. Can't afford to bag if right now so won't do that till further down the road. Thanks in advance guys. Appreciate all the info

Leddzepp did you get a kit or just springs? Any modification for that stance? I'm wanting something I can fit at least 18 or 20s

Here is my '68 with a 4/6 (Wheels are 20"/22")
And my '71 with a 5.5"/7" (Wheels are 20"/20") The wheels/tires you choose will play into your drop choice; size as well as back spacing are critical when you go this low.

 338 20's with an ECE 4.5 (2.5" spindles, 2"coil) /6 static drop. All ECE under there.

Mine is the beater version of that truck! All ECE in the front. DJM flip in the rear. 2 1/2" spindles, 2" springs lowered it almost 4 3/4. Flip put it down 7 in the rear.

I did the 3" coils up front and steering rods are rubbing the idler and pitman arm mounts. Do I need to do the drop spindles to cure this problem. They are rubbing without the motor even in the truck so Im concerned that when I get it in with the extra weight it will just get worse. Any info appreciated.

Mine had 2.5" spindles but switched to cpp modular 2".....which i didn't notice a difference at all in the stance. So I guess it's a 4/7 drop now. 2" spindles 2" springs front and 5" springs 2" blocks on back and c-notch.

For those that are running a 6" rear spring, how much clearance do you have between the frame and axle.....Trying to do some mock up but with out a body/engine etc on it. Im trying to get an idea of (loaded) ride height.....

I take the rear spring completely out, letting the rearend rest on the bump stop (provided its still in) that is close to an approximate 6" lower spring ride height, again totally depends on the weight and other factors for end result actual ride height..

At 5" my truck bottomed out routinely and needed a notch. You will get answers all over the place.
