Built an exhaust, dual 2.5" to single 3", sound deadened the cab, and got the Dakota Digital gauges installed.

Got it all together, got it aligned and was able to start putting some miles on it. This thing is so much fun to drive, all the suspension/steering upgrades really paid off, it's one of the better handling vehicles I have ever driven.

Have over 2,000 miles on it so far, and everything is working great!

Re: C10BLDR's 69 Shortbed C10 Project

I have been wanting to get it tuned, as the computer just has a very basic tune to make it run. But knowing that i wanted to put a cam in it I have held off. So I finally picked up cam for it, Texas Speed stage 2 truck cam with LS6 valve springs. Put it in last weekend and it's going in to get tuned tomorrow! Can't wait to see how much it wakes this truck up.

Nice project! I was trying to figure out if you painted it or what. I guess your pictures took a crap from photobucket.
Do you have any more info on your upper control arm modification? I've never seen that done. cool truck!
