Are you painting your truck ?
Well I'm pretty sure we all hate opening and closing let alone stirring paint and primer cans , Not to mention the mess that goes with pouring out of gallon cans and cost of wasting supplies , I've got multiple panels to shoot over a couple days . Check these out .

Yes these are great to have around I normally have a few in different sizes in use and keep the job clean and neat.

I'm going to clean it up with some reducer ,But considering how expensive paint is and how easy these are to use I'm buying 2 to get free shipping , if they don't clean well for $20.00 I'll just toss it .

Thanks for that link. They're $13+ each cheaper than on Amazon. And since I'm not in a hurry, that's a good savings. Ordered 2 as well.

Looks promising. Maybe an extra gallon can, put in pint of reducer. After cleaning, the reducer is saved for your paint mix, your going to strain it anyway...Last gallon of reducer was $40.

I'm giving one a shot as well. With the cost of automotive paint, you can easily spill more than these gadgets cost.

The info says it works with water or solvent based finishes - specifically, will it work with lacquer? MICHAEL B on Apr 8, 2015 BEST ANSWER: I had no problem with lacquer based paint or conversion lacquer. Cleaned up easily and did not seem to soften plastic. left on can for 4 days. not sure if i would leave on for extended periods but clean up was easy so not a problem. Will it hold up to lacquer and lacquer thinner? Joel S on Nov 19, 2017 BEST ANSWER: I use mine with lacquer, it's been in the can for several months and now in its second can. Doesn't seem to be any problem. I have two gal. And a quart. Gonna order some more

The timing of this discovery, for me, is most unfortunate...I just finished up the painting portion of my truck...UHHHHG!
I think it's a fantastic find and most affordable too. Makes me look forward to painting again. I have been using spray bomb lids and a hanger wire handle to dip my paint out of the can as I rarely paint more than a couple guns at a time.

I would wash that thing before I stuck it in a can. Clean up could prove costly, time wise and tedious. Gadgets are always good, things and tools always lead to development to better processes. As with anything figuring out how to use them is the key.
