WashingTon Oregon Idaho Guys

I know its early but we need to plan a get together I see more and more local guys joining daily. I think a mid summer BBQ and Get together would be great. Maybe a little show and shine and a few local vendors? Just a thought .. What do you guys think? thanks Jack

Count me in and Orence1. oldiron is always game too but don't let him show up unless he brings my old flatbed...gosh I miss that truck! I think CARS4567 got out of the business but I am sure we could coax him out of retirement for this one.

CARS4567 sold the burby for $100! The guy hauled it North...another board member, I think oldiron, saw it headed north on I-5 on a flatbed. Some friend of a board member bought it. It would be nice to hear or see how the rebuild is progressing. $100 for a running burby is a pretty sweet deal!

If you give me enough time I can make it, I'd like to meet the people who have given me good advice. It would be nice to know a little bit more about them and their trucks too.

Great idea. If we go in July or August, I might actually be able to drive the truck there! A thought might be the Goodguys show in Puyallup in mid July. Lots of vendors, great cars (although they cut off at 62) and there is a Nostalgia drag race on Friday night at Pacific Raceways which is about 15 miles from the show. Keep us posted so we can put it on the calendar.

Sounds like fun but coming up from Southern Oregon, an idea on proposed location would be nice. Keep us posted.

Souncs like fun to me too. A proposed location would be great. If it is at a current event, we should make sure that it is one that all the 67-72's can make it into. Goodguys was a lot of fun last year but I want to see everyones truck. What other shows are there?

Not sure if a existing show would be good or Just our own thing at a big park or? lets here some Ideas. I think a show might be a little restrictive. We have time so let the suggestions flow..Thanks Jack

jostrans68, I like the idea of getting together. There are many good shows around Western Washington. One suggestion is the GM picnic in Graham. As soon as the schedule comes out there should be some good places to meet.
Stllookn I don't know if I should bring the flat bed, I hate to see a grown man cry.
