Stock coolant catch can?
Would a '72 350 truck come stock with some form of coolant recovery/catch can? It's an automatic a/c truck with a clutch fan if any of that matters

it was not listed as an option nor as standard equipment, however, it has been listed on the SPID (option sheet) on some gov. trucks. Basicly it was only a special order item for a factory option. Dealers did have one listed as a dealer installed piece though.

Good deal, I took off my ghetto rigged one yesterday. I figured the overflow hose was just supposed to go out of that hole in the passenger inner fender anyway

Here's the recovery tank on my truck. I believe it was dealer installed. It originally had a black cap.

that may be a GM piece. It looks just like the one in the drawing/advertisment I have filed away somewhere. Problem is, the ones at auto zone is VERY close to being an exact replicate piece.
