Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV

Took the Kids to see Charletts web over the weekend, there are at least 3 67-72s that I saw, one was a 69or70 short step that was in the movie several times, there is also a real nice 60s chevy truck in it as well

Anyone ever notice the black truck in dazed and confused has an 88 or newer steering wheel? Looks period correct aside from the wheel. In the deleted scenes on DVD there is a green Burb cruising through the background.

There's that and also there is a red Camaro in the parking lot while they are picking on the freshmen girls that has newer style (can't remember the year) wheels on it.

It's been about 7 years since I have watched that movie.

Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV

yeah, theres a few bloopers in that flick, the red Camaro or Firebird had late 80's Iroc wheels, and also in that same scene there is a 84-94 S10 blazer way in the backround.. and when they are all in the C10 chasing the car to paddle them, as soon as the scene first goes to the truck they pass a 88-98 Fullsize longbed in hte driveway, yeah I watch it a bunch..lol

"I'd like to trade in this old truck" in Montgomery Gentry's "Speed" video is a green 71 or 72

Also, one of Audioslave's earlier video's starts off with the band driving up in a 4X4 67-72

Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV

There are a couple scenes in 'Black Snake Moan' that have our trucks in them. Nothing fancy, just drivers. Cool movie too, BTW, If you like Samuel L Jackson and blues music. Great soundtract.
