New member introduction

Well, I have been lurking on here for a while, and wanted to introduce myself. For the past months me and my son have been working on a 1969 C30 sport truck themed restoration build. The truck was my fathers when growing up, and become defacto-mine after he retired its use some 30 years ago when one of the rear brake drums seized. It's sat in my parents garage until last year when I was able to haul it to my home. Me and my son have striped it down to the frame, cleaning up 50 years a gunk, and upgraded the suspension and brakes, etc. It's now sporting disc brakes and about to be made into a short bed. Of course it being a C30 some parts are nonexistent so I have had to either retro-fit parts (rear forward leaf spring brackets) or go with something from a C20. Over that time I have tapped into the wealth of information that this forum has provided and hopefully will be able to give back in my own way.

Cheers!
