Re: gas cap question

maybe I should explain more. truck has had a 5.3 swap. vent line on tank was used for return line. now I need to vent tank. 71-72 fuel caps are non vented. 67-70 are vented but the filler neck on tank is bigger so those caps wont fit my tank. has anybody else had this problem? how did you fix it?

Re: gas cap question

Check out a 1972 c20 or c30 gas cap. The 3/4 ton and larger trucks were available without the emissions package and had vented caps.

that should work if they have the same size neck as the 72 c10.
