Passenger side new windshield wood sticks up

Near windshield hood sticks up. See the pictures, I'm able to push it down but it's still not all the way down and I wonder if the hinge needs to be replaced, any of you guys have input would be greatly appreciated.

That can be adjusted out. Also, lube the hinges. They work amazingly better with some lubricant.

I get excited when I get a new windshield also but I don't know if I would describe the excitement quite the way you did in the heading

Re: Passenger side new windshield wood sticks up

Your hood to fender gaps look correct, the windshield cowl looks tight, I would adjust there and shim it out to the correct spacing to match the fender to hood lines and call it done.
